Not sure what to say?

I came across a letter today that Mary Anne wrote to me not long after she had moved to Colorado, and I was reminded of her intelligence and poetic mind. We were friends when we both lived in Madison WI, which was a long time ago, but beauty casts a long shadow. I´m sorry we never got to talk again.

I am saddened to hear of Mary Anne's passing. I went to St. Anthony Grade School as well as Boylan with her.
I always thought she was a wonderfully unique person, and enjoyed her company through our years in school together. Thoughts to her family and students, as I am sure she will be deeply missed.

I went to school with Mary Anne at Muldoon and Boyland and I remember what a wonderful and caring person she was. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, and Mary Anne's students. May God hold her in His loving arms.

God bless.

My Deepest Sympathy and Condolences to the family, friends, and students of Dear MARY ANNE DRAGO.....SHE WAS A VERY SPECIAL AND UNIQUE LADY...RIP My Dear Friend....

Ms Drago was my son Henry Plavets teacher when he was in elementary school, and he liked her very much. He is now 21 and living an independant life in San Antonio Texas. I am sure it was her being part of his life all those years ago that helped make him who he is today. She was an exelent special education teacher. She will be very missed by all the people in the Durand school district. We are very sorry for the loss of someone so talented and caring. Gail, Nick and Henry Plavets

so sorry for your loss.

Mary Anne Drago was such a wonderful, supportive, and inspirational teacher for my son. I credit her with helping him believe in himself and the fact that he is succeeding in college today is, no doubt, because she had a deep understanding of my son, his challenges, and his gifts. Also, it meant so much to us that she called me to tell me that she was very excited that we decided to enroll my son in Boylan High School and her assurance that it was a good choice for him helped us feel...

Mary Anne and I taught together at Harlem High in the 70's. We went to see King Tut together! We lost touch over the years and I was saddened to see she had passed.

Hey Cuz, you are missed. RIP and tell my Dad I said Hi!
