Not sure what to say?

Sister Mary Jonathan was my first grade teacher at Sacred Heart School in Holyoke Ma. I have such fond memories of her. She was kind and nurturing. I remember that every so often she would call me up to her desk, she would open her top drawer and give me a red hot dollar candy. She probably did that for everyone but she made me feel so special I am 65 years old and the memory still warms my heart

We both attended BS elementary and we were blessed to have Sr Mary Johanathan as 1st grade teacher. We were a year apart and never knew each other then. Lynne continued her education thru high school at Holyoke Catholic and I thru public school. I remember showing Sr my report cards from Metcalf School, she was and is an important person in our lives.

Jake, Joe and Pete it has been a long time since I have seen you, sorry about your loss. Email me at [email protected]

Dear sweet Sister Mary it was so wonderful singing with you during our years with the Dan Kane Singers. We attended the last concert of the group together and had a wonderful time. Over the years, we found fun things to do together and I visited you at your cute little apartment, we reminisced and found much to laugh about. You seemed to have found your happy place. You were a wonderful kindred spirit and found joy in the friendships, the performing and especially the music. My condolences...

God bless you, Sister Mary. She was my first teacher (4th grade) at Saint Patrick's School, in Chicopee. We bumped into each other a few times over the past 40 years or more, and she always looked the same. The big smile and a warm hug. She was tough when needed, but lots of fun. Wonderful memories and she will be missed. My condolences to all who cared and loved her.

Joe, Jake, and Peter, it's been a long time since we've seen each other, but so, so, sorry to see of your sisters passing.
