Mary K. Eilers

I am so sorry to hear of your beloved wife's passing, Dr. Eilers. What a wonderful life you two had. My condolences.

Mary K was such an amazing friend and fellow parishioner at St. Elizabeth of Hungary. She and Mike led our Transition Projects team that served monthly dinners at two shelters, and she continued on her own, sometimes recruiting family members, after Mike passed away. She was organized, upbeat, and energetic, and so dedicated in her service to others. Her posts and photos from her Camino walk were a joy to follow. I was blessed to have a chance to say hello at the Oregon Symphony last year....

A true gift to all who enjoyed the pleasure of her company. Mary K and I carpooled our young sons to Sunset Preschool and for many years shared the same house keeper. I remember Mary K sharing her joy of cooking by telling me that she loved nothing more than cooking from the ingredients found in her pantry.
