Not sure what to say?

I was trying to connect to New Hope's live Good Friday service this evening and ran into a past online service for Mary English. I was absolutely stunned--taken aback. Mary was the kindest, most gracious soul that I know. She welcomed me to New Hope when I first joined there in 2009. I enjoyed her Sunday School class. She was always prepared and was an amazing teacher.

After Mary moved to New Jersey, she continued to keep in touch with me. The last time I heard from her--I...

I just received news today Of your passing. I sad, but know you rest in Our Saviors Arms. I praise God our paths crossed and with God s s guidance and yours, you counseled me for 9 years through heartache pain, but in love and encouragement saw me through! I praise God for the imprint you left on my heart. Know God heard our prayers regarding our many requests . Rest sweetly, til we meet again.

Good and Faithful Servant: Matthew 25:23

I searched for Mary English online, and when I could not find her I included her middle name and was surprised to see her obituary. Mary English, as I called her, was intelligent, scholarly, helpful, professional, prayerful, generous, and faithful to God and to everyone and everything she valued. She was strikingly beautiful, yet she never flaunted her beauty and wore glasses. She was humble. Mary English was/is one of my role models, and I am grateful that our lives crossed. The United...

I was in private practice with Mary in Denver. Her compassion and wisdom blessed so many of her clients...and myself. Mary sat in pray before and after each client session providing these clients emotional as well as spiritual support.

I was deeply shocked and saddened by her death. I know that her prayers will continue to bless so many from heaven.

I am so very sorry for your loss, Breck. She loved you dearly and would light up telling me stories about you!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of a fellow usher. Mary was very devoted to the Lord and I know that He has truly welcomed her into the Kingdom of Heaven. She will be truly missed.

Condolences to the family and friends of Mary. She continues to light the world with her lasting impressions. Our prayers are with you all.

Breck, Ann and family,
My heart breaks with the sudden loss of Cathy. Cathy was blessed with a huge family of loving brothers and sisters yet she still had room for me. She was my sister and I loved her. Cathy was a beautiful Godly woman here on earth and an Angel looking down on us now. Daniel was only one of her Godchildren yet she was always there for him in every way possible. You are truly missed Cathy.
Breck and family, Please accept my deepest sympathy and love for you...

Karen, I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your sister Mary. Though it has been many years since I have seen her I remember her as being a kind person. My condolences go out to you and the rest of your family. May the memories and the love that you shared with her throughout the years sustain you and the family in this time of sorrow.
God bless,
Marilyn Groce Hill
