Mary Suzanne Pauli Eves

Mary was truly an angel for my family. She was a nurse at Watsonville Hospital when my daughter Andrea ended up there with pneumonia at 5 months old. Mary took care of her as she was so very sick and was there each day to give updates to me and my family. Andrea had a 104 degree temperature and at one point they did not think she would make it but Mary kept very positive the whole time and each day our daughter got her strength back and beat the virus that was keeping her sick. Always enjoyed her visits to Wis, and she was the best host when visited in Watsonville. Phone calls were never short, even in the last year. She enjoyed a good conversation, sharp as a tack into her 90s. Will be missed, and was always enjoyed.

Mary loved to give tours at the Rodgers House during the Fair, her bubbly personality was such a pleasure to be around. She will be missed and we as the Rodgers House Committee will always be great ful for the many years she was part of our loyal devoted Rodgers House Committee.
