Mary & Gwen 2008

Marv, nice note from you. I live in Tucson during the winter now, still with geoff, drop a line, [email protected] from amy elliott

During the early 70's I was a grocery cashier at the Stadium Fred Meyer in Northwest Portland. I remember Mary as one of my favorite customers. If my memory is not mistaken she drove an Austin Healey sports car and on one occasion she was shopping in the store wearing a stunning black and red pants suit with a black derby hat. She looked like she stepped out of the pages of Vogue magazine, this memory has stayed with my for over 41-years. She certainly had an amazing life and left fond...

We had many wonderful years together, first on Westover and then on Irving. I learned a lot about life from you.Vacation travels to Mexico, San Anselmo and Silver Lake and various West coast cities to install your unbelievable art creations. I will always remember you. May you rest in peace.

Mary,
You were such a wonderful person/landlord/friend when my then BF Alan and I lived in your newly renovated victorian off of NW 23rd and Johnson street back in 1980. We have such great memories. You were so meticulous with the property. We loved getting together with you at your home for a toast or two! Peace and love be with you and with Gwen and other family members....cheers! Julie

May you draw close to God in prayer during this difficult time and find comfort in reading his Word.

Gwen-

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Yours,

Kim Weller

Mary was my best friend for many years, my landlord for some years, traveling companion and Bon Vivant. She helped my husband and me in many ways. we often speak of the good times we had with Mary, and miss her. We swim in our pool today in her honor. A. Elliott.

Safe travels my fellow Scorp and "art mom"....had so many laughs with you in the Irving St loft....
