Not sure what to say?

to the family of sr. mark, and to the sisters of st. joseph,
sr. mark taught us in the eight grade and we all loved her dearly.she gave us our foundation and firm stepping stone into our next four years in high school.
i offer my sympathy and my prayers to you all. sincerely, elise gauthier fryou, class of '57.

Our deepest sympathies to the family of Sister Mary Ann Farris. She was delightful to work with during some of my years at St. Joseph's Academy, Baton Rouge. I also had the occasion to recommend couples in conflict to her care in assisting them in resolving their differences. They are together till this day which is a true testimony to her . She had such insight and was able to bring out the best in others. To her family, we send assurance of prayers of peace not only for her but for you...

Dear Family of Sr. Mary Ann and Sisters of St. Joseph,

My deepest sympathy and assurances of prayers for the consolation of your spirits on this Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Were it not for Sr. Mary Ann, I would not have made it through a very difficult time in the first year of priestly ministry. God Blessed me with her wisdom and guidance through an issue of conflict. Because of her, I am a better pastoral minister today.

Be assured of...

Sr. Mary Ann was my eighth grade teacher my first year at the Academy. She was such a caring person and knew how to make a lost, frightned kid feel welcome in a new school. I have such fond memories of her.

My deepest sympathy to her family and especially, George, who I got to know many years later .

Wanda Hidalgo- Class of 57'

SJA's Class of 1956 wishes to express heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Sr. Mary Ann Farris. We will keep all of you in our prayers. She was a wonderful inspiration and will be sadly missed.

I was so sorry to learn of Sr. Mary Ann's death. I have very fond memories of her taking care of me on Mr. Peter Nasca's school bus when I was in Primer (Kindergarten) Grade, We went to St. Agnes School and she was a few years older. She watched over a frightened 5 year old. Even way back then she was such a caring and loving person. She will be missed. Rose Saia Piper
