Not sure what to say?

I'm so saddened to learn of Mary's passing. I was just reminiscing with a friend about elementary school and said I had so many terrific memories of 4th grade because my teacher, Mrs. Kallen, believed in hands-on learning. Vikings, multiplication tables, the Spanish explorers, map reading, and the milk jug cap crafts. Thank you for all I still remember. May her memory be a blessing to all.

I had so many wonderful teachers growing up in Brockport, but Mary was extra special. Fourth grade was hands down the best because of her. Our birthdays were a day apart and we stayed connected because of that all the way through my high school years and beyond. I´ve thought about her often through the years, not only on her birthday but ALWAYS on her birthday. The most amazing woman and I´m so grateful to have known her.

Oh, lord, how I miss this wonderful human being. Glad to have Amber in my life.

I will never forget Mary. Miss her and honor her. Mary´s spirit lives in all who found joy in her laughter, wisdom and guidance. Forever yours, Ruth Rath

Mary walks with me often.

I miss Mary and feel the joy of her friendship and laughter in my soul. ❤ Ruth

Mary, you and Ruth gave me a great gift of renewed hope and enthusiasm for a story written in what had come to seem like a very distant past. Thank you for re-lighting that candle and for the friendship we shared these past few years. I only wish it had been longer. Love to you and yours.
