Mary sold us our home. We still live in that house. She was a wonderful strong woman. I met her in the neighborhood. She was always friendly and remember me. She asked about my son. She was very dear. She will be missed. My deepest condolence to the family. Cecilia Cortez Sam Gilbert

Mary Kay found us our first home on East 17th St. in Midwood Park. Her commitment to Flatbush helped us build a strong community of people who continue to be, 40 years later, life long friends. We will be forever grateful to her.

She was a wonderful, gracious woman who will be missed.

Not only a wonderful friend and neighbor, but someone who made keeping the PPS community thriving through many contentious years. Rest in peace, Mary Kay.

Thanks Aunt Mary Kay for being my "NYC Mom" all these years. Many, many great days in Brooklyn, and my favorite snowstorm ever in NYC was a trip to Brooklyn.
