Mary Margaret Yearout Garber

My wife and I lived in Huntsville briefly in the mid 1970s. Pug and Harry were very gracious and kind to us. I kept in touch with her over the years via e-mail and during her occasional visits to Princeton. I always enjoyed talking to her.

Pug was more than a matriarch in our family. She was my youngest aunt and the central force in a gang of 12 cousins – 1 girl and 11 boys. Of the boys, 4 were her own kids. Mary Garber was my aunt, but she was only seven years older than I, so she seemed like an older sister to me. I'll miss the telephone conversations that we had in recent years between her and me in Virginia.
