Mary was a my neighbor and I always enjoyed seeing her. She was a precious lady and always had a smile on her face, dressed beautifully and so gracious. May she rest in peace and now she will be with her beloved Bud. Keep the wonderful memories you have of your mother close to your heart and know you had the best mother a child could have. Blessings to you all as she will be missed.

I always enjoyed seeing Mary -- and all of the Gartz family members -- at the Zoo's Silverback Society events. She always loved to show me photos of her granddaughters and was so sweet and kind. My thoughts and prayers to her family. Tana Benford (Toledo Zoo)
