Read MoreMary Gae George was so generous and so kind and so musical. I studied with her from 1976 to 1978, after which I went to college. I can credit Mary Gae and Jon for making it possible for me to pursue a living as an Opera singer. I am now a professor at Hofstra U and Mannes College of Music. I think about them so often. I was very lucky to cross their paths. My thoughts to Jennifer.

Mrs. George was my teacher many years ago in Maryland. She was hands down the best teacher I ever had (I'm now in my late 50s). She adored musicand her greatest gift was cultivating that same passion in her students. A great legacy.....

Mrs. George and her family brightened my childhood and I loved her dearly. She was way more than a piano teacher but a guide for how to live your life. I miss you! Charles
