Mary Marguerite Gilmore

I taught with Mary at Ben Franklin High School and we kept in touch after we were both retired. Mary set the example: actions speak louder than words. She did good works to better the human condition and was always seeking to learn and grow as an individual; and she had a great sense of humor! It was an honor to know her. She will not be forgotten.

Mary was a dear friend and neighbor. She was a pleasure and I feel blessed to have known her. Mary and her son George will always be some of my favorite, unforgettable Ivy Place neighbors. Wonderful memories of a time and place indelible on my mind.

She was a kind and gentle person with a zest for life that inspired all around her. May she rest in eternal peace.
