MARY ANN GOODRICH

It seems a daunting task to pay tribute to someone like my mother-in-law in a concise, written fashion. But to not at least attempt it feels as though I am dishonoring her, so here it goes.
I have told several people during this last week, including my husband, that even if I didn’t know her I would HAVE to love my mother-in-law simply for giving birth to, and raising, the man of my dreams and the love of my life. Our deepest sympathy to Bill and the Taylor family on your loss. Mary Ann was such a special part of our Murphy family. When we needed a friend, a special word, a gentle touch, a quick quip to lighten a moment, Mary Ann was always there for us. Mary Ann's generosity, love and humor were our blessings for having known her. She will remain in our hearts and the blessings she gave us will be shared with others. We were so blessed to have Mary Ann and Bill as a part of our Wedding, and hope to model after such a special love. Every time we saw Mary Ann, she always had a smile on her face. She was so good with our kids, and we always looked forward to seeing her on our trips to Ohio. She will be missed, but I have faith we will see her again one day.
