Mary Victoria Grant Graham, 77, died Sunday, March 4, 2018, at her residence on Murphy Lane. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Paul W. Bauer officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Churchyard. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home and Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born January 26, 1941 in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Glenn Grant and the late Una Curtis Grant. She was a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School and attended Tennessee Tech. Mrs. Graham had formerly worked with the Census Bureau and was an avid volunteer with many organizations, including the Students Club and Maury County Public Library. Her many activities include membership in King's Daughters' Guided Circle, Gideons Auxiliary, James K. Polk Society, Quaestio Club, and Second Thursday Book Club. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher. Survivors include her husband of forty-three years, Joseph Graham, Jr. of Columbia; sons, Joseph Graham, III of Columbia and Robert Abbay (Rachael) Graham of Columbia; and grandchildren, Robert Abbay Graham, Jr. and John Michael Graham. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Grant Moore. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
