Not sure what to say?

I met Sister Mary Greco in the early 1970's when she rented a room at my mother's house in Riverdale, NY. My mom (Mary Fahey) and I were very impressed with her kind nature and dedication to her work. We were still struggling with the grief and the economic impact of my father's death. She was very sensitive to our condition and went out of her way to cheer us up. She was a bright candle of hope in our home, and even though it has been forty years since Sister Mary went away to Schenectady,...

I did not know Mary but I am so sorry for your loss. I am active in the Catholic Community and have been to St.Luke's from time to time I just read about Mary in the newspaper and I am saddened by this Schenectady tragedy. Be comforted that she did good things on earth and is with Jesus now. For scripture and words of comfort check out www.griefshare.com When I loss my dad grief share helped me a lot! My husband and I will be saying prayers for your family, Sincerely Michelle M. Teta

I did not know Mary Stella, but my condolences go out to her family and friends. May she rest in peace and may she be safe in Gods loving arms with the angels by her side.

Dear friends and family of Mary,

My mother, Helen Tedford. was a good friend of Mary's in their earlier years. My mother spoke very fondly of Mary. May they both rest in peace in the Lord's arms.

I met Mary at an art class and we became friends. I will miss her forever. She was a kind and gental soul. My prayers go to her friends and family.

Easily the most Christ like person I have known. I was so fortunate to have become her friend when she stopped in our antique shop, nine months ago, to purchase a vintage umbrella. Thereafter we visited weekly. The world is a lesser place with the loss of Sister Mary and heaven will be greater for it.

My condolences to all of Mary's family and friends. I was introduced to Mary by my mother when she moved into the neighborhood.. Through the years my mother benefited from her company, help and friendship. I always enjoyed seeing Mary during my visits home because she truly carried with her a grace and serenity that soothes my soul. I will also always cherish the painting Mary gave me of my dairy barn. Rest assured, a prayer will be said every time I see it..

We love you and will forever miss you
