Mary Elizabeth Kerr Grier

I feel that I need to write you and let you know how much your mother meant to me and my children. She taught all three of my daughters and they loved her like a grandmother. If you asked either of them who their favorite teacher was they will say Mrs. Grier. She was a very special lady and one loved by all. We are all so blessed to have had her in our lives. She helped make each of us a better person. May God be with you.

We are sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Grier. We visited her at Bonclarken several times. We also came from Mooresville to the Hendersonville area. Rev. Grier performed our wedding in 1963 at Mooresville ARP where I was taken to church. They were such wonderful people. Some of you children may remember us. Right now we remember you in your loss.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. She was always there to lend a helping help. She gave of herself whenever or wherever needed. She also had to deal with a bunch of us on Friday nights during our high school years. She blessed so many people with her unconditional love. Call me if you ever need to talk!!My thoughts & prayers are with you during this time!!
