Funeral service for Mary Elizabeth Grisham, 54, of Decatur will be Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at 7 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Benjamin Hayes officiating.
Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
Ms. Grisham died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at her residence. She was born July 25, 1954, in Decatur to Gorman Grisham Sr. and Sarah Ruth Aday Grisham.
She is survived by one son, Jonathan Morton of Decatur; two daughters, Cara Morton Brown and husband, Dwight Jay, of Decatur and Michelle Morton Dent and husband, Jon, of Birmingham; her mother, Sarah Grisham of Decatur; one brother, Gorman Grisham Jr., and wife, Linda, of Decatur; one sister, Sarah Henderson, and husband, John, of Decatur; and four grandchildren, Jackson Tyler Burrow, Ella Grace Burrow, Amelia Katelyn Brown and Allie Catherine Brown.

We were saddened to read about your sister. We only met her a couple of times when she picked Sara Beth up from our home. She always had a cheerful smile on her face.
