Mary Ann Hagmeyer Guenzler

I first knew Mary Ann when she was a teenager and I was a "wannabe." I am so sorry to learn of her passing. As my younger brother has written, she was part of a great group of friends from the Ottawa Street Methodist Church in Joliet way back in the 40s and 50s. She lived a good long life--the last time I saw her and her mother Hazel was at my mom's 90th birthday party in 2001. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. My thoughts are with you all.

Sympathies and condolences from some decendants of old time Joliet friends of the Hagmeyers. Many memories of the Christmastime generations parties that included, the Larsons, McConnells, Hagmeyers, Simpsons, Rogers, Brians and a few more, (that don't come to mind) always bring a smile to my face. What a beautiful lady! Both inside and out. She was so full of life and loved going anywhere with her "Bob". She always told me how she was so proud of her girls and how much she loved them. Her smile, when Mary Ann spoke of them, would light up the room. She was VERY special to me as well. I´m so blessed to have been part of both her and Bob´s life in my own small way. So, it´s not goodby, but until we meet again. I love you Mary Ann, and will always remember you.
