Mary A. Hallett¸ 87, of DeKalb, Ill., formerly of Walworth, Wis., passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Bethany Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in DeKalb.
She was born May 21, 1923, in Cornell, the daughter of Merritt and Ruth (Barickman) Wayman.
She is survived by her two brothers, Rodger (Mary) Wayman of DeKalb and Keith (Leone) Wayman of Morton; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Wayman of DeKalb; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; six brothers; and one sister.
Cremation will take place at the Anderson Funeral Home Crematory, with interment of cremated remains at Walworth Cemetery in Walworth, Wis., at a later date.

I appreciated seeing Mary when I came to Bethany. She seemed to enjoy sports and reading very much. She was a nice roommate for my Grandma a few years ago. Grandma has a room closer to the cafeteria now. I am glad that Mary isn't suffering now. She will be missed.
