I only met Mary many years ago and have never forgotten what a lovely human she was. My condolences to all that knew hew and loved her.

Mom, you were not only my best friend but my complete guide to life. You gave me the guidance, love, kindness, support and knowledge to move on in this world. You set a bar sugar lumps and I love you TOO MUCH.

My daughters and I have been friends with Mary´s daughter Amy for many years. We have always admired the loving relationship Amy had with her mother. We want to send our thoughts and prayers to her and her family. Much love. Laurel Hayden-Downie, Marit Vieths, Allie Rasmussen

Mary was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. An amazing lady who lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed. Ann Adams

I met Mary through our work as guardians. We served on the Guardian Assoc. of Oregon Board together. She was a truly wonderful person. Always quick witted and smart. She kept the group laughing and was generous with her time. She frequently shared stories of her family; she was very proud. My sympathy for your loss. Mary was one of the nicest, most supportive people I've known. Michael O'Shea

Mary was not only my sister-in-law, she was the sister of my heart. Yes, she had a gentle spirit, but also a vivacious spirit. She touched and improved my life in immeasurable ways, for which I am grateful. By following her example, I hope to shed light into the cavernous hole she left behind.

My sincere sympathy, hugs and love to you all. Mary was such a kind, loving person who cared for my young children when I volunteered at Elmonica school. Others were amongst those receiving this free will service from her. She loved our children! She exemplified her Christian faith like no other. I lost track of her after she left our neighborhood but I thought of her often. She will be sorely missed.
