Mary will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and support, basically all you could ask for in a true and genuine friend, and as a close family friend that Mary was she is missed but surely not forgotten.

We still think of Mary and the fun and friendship she offered my mother often. Two old hens who were "ladies who lunched" (quite often!). Mary called my mother every weekday and they went out and about 2- 3 times per week. She was always a fast walker and would be out front and then have to stop and wait for my mom to catch up. Mary was one of my favorite people to spend time with. We spent many hours out on the fields training dogs. She had lighting quick wit, and the ability to read an animal quickly and correctly. We would always tease her about wearing a skirt no matter what the temperature. I will miss her humor and advise on dogs and training.

I evented her daughter, Penny's, beloved POA stallion Hank when I was just 8 years old at the old Ragged Hill in West Brookfield. Well over 30 years ago. Those were the days! Mary was sharp right to the end and I only hope I have half her mental acuity at the age she passed. She and my mom were quite a pair. Miss her as I know my...
