Sister Mary Lou Hayden Sc

Sr. Mary Lou was a teacher and principal at my Grammar School in the 1960s and 70s. When Vatican II was instituted, she (and her co-principal Sr. Maeve McDermott) ushered in a new era not only for religious instruction, but also pedagogy, and social justice. Her positive influence upon the children under her guidance was life-changing. As one of those children, I am forever grateful.
