We Zimmerman girls are extremely sad to announce our beloved mother, Mary Gale Zimmerman Helwig, passed away July 13, 2013, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center, at the age of 91. Mary Evelyn Gale was born Sept. 26, 1921, in Bath, England, to the late Gilbert and Evelyn Gale.

Mary was a delightful and fun loving, sweet lady. We played cards together at Trailside Senior Center. She was very good at Texas Holdum. I was saddened to her of her passing, and will miss her.

Mary, you will be so greatly missed. I have so many wonderful memories of you, all I have to do is think back to my teen years and staying at your house for sleep overs with Laurie....and I grin from ear to ear. Over all the passing years of adulthood, you continued to keep me laughing every time I saw you. Thank you for being in my life.
