Mary Jean and her good advice will remain w/ me 4 the rest of my life. I will never forget her kindness and loyalty 2 my mother. I am so sorry that I was not aware until now. Mary Jean waa someone to be proud of

Sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother. Loved to hear the stories you told about her and hopefully will continue to tell!! May she rest in peace. May your memories keep you warm.

I did not know Mrs. Hemann, but I know Mo who claims to be cut from the same cloth. For that alone, Mrs. Hemann has had great cause for pride. God bless and godspeed on her journey to heaven.

The voice is silent. Her legacy lives on.I grew up, as next door neighbors.
A lot of fond memories with Paul, Mary Jean and the girls! The lives, that this woman touched! My sincerest thoughts and prayers to the family! She was a cool LADY! REST IN PEACE!

I am always sad to hear of the passing of a former East St Louisan. I was born in East St Louis in 1933 & lived across the street from St Teresa Academy until I was 10 years old. My condolences to the family.

LOVELY LADY, LOVELY FAMILY, OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH U ALL.......

My fondest memories of Wolf Branch involve Mrs. Hemann. Yes, an iron lady with a heart of gold. She loved us and taught us well. A piece of her lives on in all those of us she taught over the years. She will never be forgotten.

Mary Jean gave me my first job forty years ago cutting her lawn for $2. When I entered the Securities business, she was my first client. Mary Jean added color in others lives. She was most enjoyable to be around, We will miss her sorely. Our deepest condolences to Sue and Maureen.
