Not sure what to say?

How privileged I am to have met Mary. She was such a joy to be with, I loved cooking for her, but she let me know Chris is the best. I enjoyed watching movies and especially conversing with her about so many interesting subjects.
She told me several times "The light of her life is Chris" and I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know that Mary's friendship will always be special to me. Thank you for letting me care for her and get to know her for the past few months. She once shared these...

Mary and I were great high school friends in Okla. City. She sang at my wedding in 1951. I only recently learned she lived in this area and had planned to call her. I will always regret that I didn't.

I was sorry to read Mary's obit in the Daily Oklahoman. I worked with Mary when she taught at Hoover Middle School in OKC. She battered me into being a part of the negotiation team her first or second year on the team. We spent so many hours with the administration that it almost caused a divorce in my family.
We finally went on strike, but administration won out. Oh well, Mary and I both learned a lot that year. She was always kind and helpful to me and I thought so much of her. ...

Mary Hepp was a very special person in my life and I will always hold her close to my heart. My prayers are with her family as they hold a special place in my heart too. Mary and Chris I am sorry for your loss. sharon cunningham seeley

Mary will long be remembered for her care and concern of the TSTA members and others. It was a privilege working with her.

May God continue to bless and keep the family during these times. Let us continue to look to God who strengthens us in time of need.

It was my pleasure to work with Mary as a faculty representative at Paschal High School and in the 80's through the Ft. Worth Classroom Teachers Association now known as FWEA/NEA. Mary along with Dottie & Charlene (just to name a few) helped representatives to make things happen, as well as, encouraging us to believe that change was possible as we strived...

It was always a privilege to work with Mary Hepp during my years at TSTA. The tireless hours she spent working on behalf of public educators is a legacy that will continue.

Memories of Mary go back to Corpus Christi. What a special woman. She loved helping others and when push came to shove, she loved a good fight. Many administrators were introduced to advocacy through Mary's straight talk and piercing eyes. She loved life, gave more than she required, and never gave up on friends. For all of us who know Mary, we're the better because of what she gave us. For Roy Luna, John Pyle, Speedy Gonzales and myself, God bless you....Mary, and thank you.

I worked with Mary for more years than I can remember. She was a colleague and a mentor. She loved our staff union, the Professional Staff Association, and was a hard working member. At some time or other, Mary must have done every job PSA had to do. Thank you, Mary, for your untiring efforts for us and those who follow us.
