Dear Jeannie, Tom, and Kathleen, We were so very sad to hear that your Mom and Dad passed away. As our neighbors on Onekama for 36 years, Don and Mary Lu were the best! No one was more generous with their time and attention in both good times (remembering birthdays, hosting neighborhood parties, or simply chatting at the mailbox) and difficult times (bringing meals, offering rides, and checking in). Oh Dear Friend Mary Lou, You were the best of friend to me while I was a single Mom to my four children. Always inviting me into your circle, keeping me involved with our Brownie and Girl Scout group supporting my daughter and other kids. So many more acts of kindness I will never forget.
