Not sure what to say?

Vera Dankof of La Villita Little Studio and Mary Hetherington´s close friend. Now in Section 54 of Arlington National Cemetery.

Mary was my Mother’s great friend at Little Studio of La Villita in San Antonio for years. My Mother has now joined my Father at Arlington National Cemetery outside Washington in Section 54. There are many great memories of all the fine people at Little Studio who were such a great part of my Mother’s life after Dad passed away in 2009 in San Antonio.

She definitely could teach water coloring paintings...
She was a woman that changed my life for the good.. she paved my way to photography.
Rest well..

I purchased a barn scene watercolor painting by Mary, recently, in Bend, Oregon, and it is really lovely. I wanted to know about the artist and found her obituary here. She was a very talented artist and I will treasure this painting.

Her 1st granddaughter Dawn Elaine Smith. Her 1st Great granddaughter, Heather Elaine Newman and her Great grandson, Bronson Sloan Newman.

Mary was my Mother´s great friend in the artist community in San Antonio at Little Studio of La Villita. At the time, memorial sites for Mary were not yet available. Vera and I write today to insure this message of remembrance and love is belatedly posted in July of 2022. The photos attached are from Vera´s retirement from Little Studio of La Villita in San Antonio in the summer of 2017.

My Precious sister-in-law, who I will miss as well as her brother (my husband). May they be happy in heaven.

May God bless and comfort the family during this difficult time.
