What a remarkable lady! There is so much I could say, but the author(s) of this obituary captured the essence of Mary Hickman better than anything I could add. I've often told Royce that he married up! But I think we can all agree that Mary did pretty well also! Their relationship was truly synergistic. Susan and I loved Mary dearly and will always treasure the times we spent with her.
