Not sure what to say?

My heart is full of happy memories like the time we ate dinner at Aries and Mary asked to taste my dessert. With one taste she wrote down a list of ingredients, with the second taste she wrote down the ratio. The next time Tim and I ate dinner at her house, she made the dessert for us. It was perfect! She was amazing!

What a dear friend and exceptional choir director and organist for our church. She made us better than we thought we could be as a choir. Often after practice it was cheese and crackers and wine at Eagle Lake with Pat and me. We are grateful to have been part of her life.

Mrs. H was one of my favorite teachers at PCHS. Looking back, I'm amazed at the difficulty level of the pieces she selected for us to perform. She believed in us, so we believed.

We will certainly miss her beautiful music at church. Our prayers and sympathy are with you at this time.

We are so fortunate to have had time with Mary both in Church and personally. She was the most talented person and gave all her talents to those fortunate to sing in her choir.
We will miss her and so sorry we are not in the area to be able to show our respect to the families.
With love in Christ, Randolph and Carrilou Gale

Mary was so inspirational at Portage Central - I loved playing in the orchestra under her direction. She mentored and encouraged me to major in music - a decision that has truly enabled me to "pass on" her high standards and innate musicality to my own students. What a great loss to the music community.

Sorry to hear about the death of Mary lee.

I had the pleasure of working with Mary, first as a college student and then years later as an Orchestra teacher in Portage Public Schools. I learned many life lessons and will miss Mary very much.

Our prayers and sympathy. Mary was a very lovely, dedicated and talented lady. How beautifuly her fingers danced on a piano. She was a wonderful organist and choir director, dedicated to the very end. What a gallant perseverance. It was a privilege to know her. Mary, God Bless you and your family. You are missed.
