Not sure what to say?

Mary Ann and family, what a wonderful mother you had and it was certainly passed down to you. I know you don't remember me but you taught many of us to "twirl" a baton at Brandon School. I have never forgotten your kindness to this poor little seventh grader whose parents were too poor to buy a baton and you gave me one. I have tried to do anything I could to help those less fortunate than me. I am now 69 and still working full time.God bless you and yours. Nell Blackwell Kennedy, Magee,...

God Bless your family from the Sam Stuart family. Sorry we could not be there for the service but know you were comforted by your family and many friends. She was indeed a very lovely lady with the same Southern charm as her late mother, my great "Aunt Manie," and we know that is where Mary Ann got her beauty and charm. Our prayers are with you.

When I returned from Mexico in 2002, I was delighted to see Miss Mary at the beauty shop. What a treat! Nearly every week we caught up for the 30 year interval.

May His blessings shower and strengthen you with comfort.
Lynne Overby Bailey

Mary was such a wonderful lady to work with down at the office on Yazoo Street. I was such a youngster back then and she took me under her wing. She even got me signed pictures of you and Gary. I was such a fan of his show and of you back then. The pictures have gone by the wayside over the years but my memories of her and how proudly she spoke of her family will always be with me. Her friendship was special to me. I will keep you and your family in my prayers and ask that He will guard...

May God's comfort and grace be with you in your loss. She was such a beautiful, gracious lady. Your family will be in my prayers.

Dearest Mary Ann,
Words can not express to you, Gary and Clancy how sad we are for your loss. Mary was such a special lady and will be missed by all that knew her. You know we are just a phone call away if there is anything we can do. We love you all dearly and miss you as well. May your fondest memories help you all during this most difficult of times.

MARYANN AND FAMILY, SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE PASSING OF YOUR MOTHER. MAY YOU AND YOUR FAMILY CHERISH HER MEMORIES AND GOOD TIMES FOREVER.
