Not sure what to say?

Family & Friends of M,
I only knew of "M" from her dear friend Charlene Whitcomb a classmate of Mary's. Charlene's pride in her friend's accomplishments and strength of spirit were to be admired. "M's" loss is a huge one to many.
With the most sincere sympathy,
Bonnie Readinger

To all Mary's family and friends,

I know you share our sorrow. I've known Mary since the early seventies. Mary was incurably optimistic and fascinated with everything and everyone. She packed more into her lifetime than seemed possible. Although she was neither healthy nor wealthy, she had seen the world and saw a world in every day. I will always remember her excitement over the Van Gogh exhibit, a speech by Carl Sagan, the artistic peformances of her friends, everything my...

Dear Dean, Pam and Family,
We did not know your sister, but are very aware how deeply you cared for her. She was a very talented artist and a great educator. We know she will be missed by everyone. Our prayers are with her and you and your family.

I didn't know Mary for long but she made a lasting impression on me. Her courage and fighting spirit were an inspiration I will carry with me forever.

To Mary's Mother and Brothers

I am sorry for your loss of a daughter and sister. She had many friends and I was happy that I was one of them. She is at peace now. We will miss her very much..

Dean, Pam, Lauren, and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are
with you. God Bless.

Dear Mary,

You inspired many you didn't even know, which means you are still here with us "in spirit". You left a lasting impression on many, even those who knew you briefly.

Now you are blessed with everlasting peace.

It was with great sorrow that I learned of Mary's passing. I rarely got to see her, but she was often in my thoughts. I intended to send her a Christmas card this year, but alas, I didn't. She and I first got acquainted about twenty years ago on a bus trip to museums in Washington, D.C. We discovered shared interests in the arts. As time went on, I admired her ceramics in exhibitions. I was shocked to learn of the theft of her pottery tools, none of which were ever recovered. That was a...

Dear Hosterman Family:
Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for you upon the passing of your dear Mary. It has been many years since we were classmates at Bellefonte High School and unfortunately I did not have the good fortune of remaining close to Mary since 1964. I did see her at many class reunions over the years and had fun catching up with her life. Mary's contagious zest for life and wonderful irreverent sense of humor were part of her compass in life. It is clear that Mary made...
