Mary L. Jenkins passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025. Mary was a beautiful person full of ambition and drive. She was very talented in arts and crafts and business administration. She gained much joy in being a Caregiver for her siblings, and other family members and friends. Mary always maintained a positive outlook regardless of situation. She is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Mamie B and Walter Williams; sister, Mamie Green; brothers: Edwin Williams, Walter Williams Jr. and Jerome Williams.
She leave to cherish her memories, loving sisters: Ophelia Williams and Cora Taylor, 2 nephews: Tyress Williams of Duncanville, TX and Robin Williams of Gary , IN; 5 nieces: Tia (Tremell) Williamson of Gary, IN, Karesha Plump, Marquetta Magee of TX, Jasmine Wade , RayJean Williams of Gary, IN; 6 great nieces and 9 great nephews: Tyreauna, Anajah and Tyress Williams, Elgin, Tristian, Neveah Williams, Trevion, Ta’Nyia, Trevonte, Tyree Williamson, Jackson, Addison, Memphis Williams, David Plump and Olivia Wade; special sons Karob and Karl Jackson. And a host of relatives and friends.

So sad and heartbroken to learn of Mary's transition. I pray that her family and loved ones are granted peace and strength during this difficult time and that their memories will provide some measure of comfort.
