Not sure what to say?

Our entire family sends our thoughts and prayers to all of you! She was always so kind and pleasant to be around! A blessing from God, and what a beautiful family she had!

We first met Mary at St. Thomas More during our college years. She was definitely our "mom" during that time as we saw her often at church and came to her for a warm hug and advice. Since we attended St. Augustine after college, Mary was around to see our family grow. We will treasure our memories of her as she was such a pillar in the Catholic community here.

It was a pleasure caring for Mary. Her passing was a day of great sadness for me. I can remember forgetting to get her Her tea somedays, and feeling terrible about it. Listening to her stories about all of her children and grandchildren. She has a certain grace about her. Kind, and warm, and gentle. Thank you for sharing her with us.

The Hoyle family sends their deepest sympathies to the Johnson family. Your Mother knew my parents, Hugh and Dottie from St. A´s. My Dad especially, she was a kindred spirit with him as she was a Democrat. My mother would attend Tuesdays with mass and lunch with her. Ironically your wife and mother entered heaven on the same day. How blessed. We will keep you all in our prayers. Your Mother was a shining example of Catholic faith and a blessing all that knew her.

I knew Mary through the Jimmy Flynn Bone Marrow Group, and remember her kindness and strength. Condolences to your family.

Mary is one of the kindest people I know. We shared a lot of laughs about how she volunteered at Borgess and Bob volunteered at Bronson. I love how she created their family newsletter. What a great way to keep up with family and stay connected!

So sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers for the Johnson family. A donation has been made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Mary's honor.

I will always be grateful to Mary for her kindness, help and love. She had such a big heart and always wanted to help in any way she could. Her memory warms my heart.

When I was the director of Spiritual Care at Borgess, Mary faithfully volunteered in our department. She visited the sick and brought communion to our Catholic patients. She always had a smile and brought a peaceful and hope-filled presence. She saw herself as a humble servant and she was instrumental in the care of our department.
