I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Johnston's passing. She was my 2nd Mom during my years at Avery Elementary - and was the only one that could tell if I was really sick or not when I wandered down to the office claiming my stomach hurt. She took interest in every child that walked through those doors and was happy to run into us long after we had left Avery's halls. My thoughts & prayers go out to the family - Heaven has definitely gained a wonderful angel.
