I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your mother; I have lost my mother too, and I understand the emptiness and hurt you feel. Be comforted knowing that she is reunited with your precious father. Both of them were highly regarded. My father (a minister) knew your father and thought a lot of him. Miss Ernestine was truly the epitome of a Southern lady; she was gracious and friendly. I always enjoyed driving by her house because it was so pretty and welcoming. May God be your strength...

I knew Bobby Jones when he delivered milk some 7 miles east of Decatur. I met Ms. Ernestine at BeeHive while attending my 99 year old aunt. In her infirmity she exhibited everything written in her obituary. I am sorry for your loss. These two were surely God's children shining the light of Christ to the world.
