Mary was a joy to be with. She was a good student and leader, naturally kind, fun to be with.
I knew Mary at Converse College and was able to see her again and to meet John at a reunion I attended with my husband Peter.

We would like to say that Mary was a wonderful inspiration to us. Always in a wonderful mood and always saying that she was fine with a Smile on her face and a sparkle in her eye. She was a wonderful neighbor. ( So was the rest of the family) When we moved away it was sad to leave. Knowing that we would leave such a good neighbor. Rest in peace Mary we know that you are in a better place. We will miss you.

I have known Mary for many, many years and had the opportunity of having her daughter, Marcy as a student. Mary was a kind and caring soul who cared so much about and for the students she taught at Ohio University, a real gift. I had an opportunity to observe first hand when my son was a student in the College of Business. Y

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time of losing a loved one. I never had the pleasure of having Mary as a professor but John always spoke highly of her during his classes.

My favorite professor and always was the sweetest lady! Always put a smile on my face!
