Mary T. Kelleher

Mary T. (Foley) Fitzgerald Kelleher, 85, died Saturday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield January 8, 1930, daughter of the late John P. and Catherine (Noonan) Foley, resided in Springfield until 1993 before moving to Longmeadow and later East Longmeadow. Mary graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1947 and was the Administrative Assistant to DA Matthew Ryan from 1974 to 1993. She was a dedicated communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother and Sister! She leaves a daughter Moira L. O’Shea and her husband Andrew of Suffield, CT, son James J. Fitzgerald and his wife Gina of Longmeadow, sister Katherine Moynihan and her husband John of West Springfield, brother Thomas Foley and his wife Eileen of West Springfield, sister in-law Betty Foley of West Springfield, grandchildren Conor M. O’Shea and fiancée Chelsea Elliot of Boston, Kara E. O’Shea of Boston, Brendan A. O’Shea of New York City and Brianne O’Shea of Boston and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her first husband James J. Fitzgerald in 1961, her second husband George Kelleher in 2005, her sister Joan F. McDonald in 2007 and her brother John J. Foley in 2015. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9 am from West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Springfield at 10 am. Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
