Read MoreMary Kennard worked with many of us for many years in the accounting office at Pacific Stationary in downtown Portland, which later moved to NE Killingsworth St. Mary was a patient and kind woman, quick with a smile. Oh yes...what stories we could tell. We used to dance in front of the picture windows at night...we could see our reflection. Little did we know we were putting on a show for John and Mary. She was always so happy to see us...and to feed us. Mmm, Mmm good fried clams!!! We played cards, sang and laughed...life was filled with joy! I will miss her dearly. Diane

My 4 siblings and I grew up across the street on Queen Road from the Kennards. Oh the memories I have and the stories I could tell... I will always remember Mary's laughter. How lucky we were to have the Kennards for neighbors. Mike, Kathy and Julie, I am so sorry for your loss.

My brothers and I were saddened to hear of Aunt Mary's passing. We all have fond memories of visiting the old place on Queen Road. She will be greatly missed.
