KILGORE, Mary "Ilene" Mary "Ilene" Kilgore, 88, of Fayetteville passed away on April 17, 2015. Mrs. Kilgore was born in Tyrone, GA to Harvey and Ruth Stinchcomb Gill. Mrs. Kilgore was an active member of Second Baptist Church of College Park and McDonough Road Baptist Church of Fayetteville for many years. She was a faithful choir member for over 50 years. She also served as PTA President at Neely Elementary, College Park, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William A. Kilgore and her son, Stephen A. Kilgore. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Scott F. Kilgore (Lanna) of Bowling Green, KY, and Jeff A. Kilgore (Debbie) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Cate, Meredith, Clay and Hannah Kilgore; her great-grandchild, Vivian Kilgore; and her brother and sister-in-law, Roy W. and Betty Kilgore. Mrs. Kilgore's funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at McDonough Road Baptist Church, with Dr. David Chancey and Dr. David Smith officiating. She will lie in state at the church at 10:00 AM prior to the service. The interment will be at College Park Cemetery, College Park, GA immediately following the service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Monday evening, April 21, 2015, at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel.
