Mary Elizabeth Knackstedt

Mary and I suffered through Physics class at Bishop McDevitt High School in 1969...she was an accelerated junior and I was one of six "not so accelerated" senior boys, who were taking the class for fun, because we had already earned enough credits to graduate. We kept the class in high spirits and I think we all passed. I'm quite sure Mary and the juniors did. Mary was a very sweet girl. Now she is one of God's precious angels in Heaven. I´m so sad to read of Mary´s illness and passing. She was a young nurse at Harrisburg Hospital and I was a student. She was so wonderful to work with. We became friends for a brief time until I moved on in my career and life. Never forgot her. Such a beautiful person inside and out. Fly high sweet Mary.
