Not sure what to say?

Mary - the passing of time does not diminish, in any way, my memories of you. As I sit here typing the message, I can hear your voice in my head and your laugh. I can transport myself back to your kitchen table and feast my eyes and tastebuds on your fantastic cooking. Every trip I make through New Cumberland instantly makes me think of you. You will always remain a very special and strong woman and will never fail to bring a smile, a lump in my throat, and a warm feeling in my heart, as long...

Her spirit still burns bright. Everyone I encounter who knew her always mention a memory and a positive impact she had on them. Her influence was wide and still remembered. She is missed every day.

With each year of Mary's passing, my memories of her and the many activities she and my father Frank pursued in their friendship after both losing their spouses, continues to remain strong and comforting to me. It was such a privilege and blessing to have Mary in our lives - she was an incredible woman.

I recently came across an article about apple pies that highlighted Mary and included one of her recipes. As I read it, I couldn't help but hear Mary's voice in my head and that made my smile. Now to make that apple pie recipe of hers and reflect on what a great woman she was and the impact she had on me. Mary, you will forever be in my thoughts and remembered with great love.

Mary was not only a mother in law to me, but she was also my friend. She always treated me like her own daughter.Knowing how much I liked “her” peanut butter pie, Mary always made “my” pie when we would come & visit her. I will miss Mary ,& especially our Sunday morning phone chats.

I would like to take this time to appreciate what a wonderful person she was! Mary took me into her family by way of her niece. Holly A Krall, which is my wife. Her warm smile and the food she prepared for Easter, Thanksgiving and some times Christmas! Shairing recipes and talking about how many pounds of Turkey was cooked at Good N' Plenty restaurant for thanksgiving.

I had the honor and privilege of knowing our beloved Mary Landis through my life-long friend and her son Bob. Her gifts and talents were varied and prolific. Her absolutely amazing hospitality with countless people was a blessing beyond measure, and set an example for all of us to follow. She was truly a shining star, always making friends and family feel welcome and loved. She had a quick wit, and a radiant smile. She showed remarkable and exceptional care for her family, neighbors, and...
