Not sure what to say?

I used to work with Mary Agnes in the Oak Brook bureau of the Tribune, and absolutely adored her. Her cubicle was adjacent to mine and we she kept me in stiches all day long. Today, she crossed my mind and I googled her name ... I'm very sad to hear that I'm more than two years late in paying my respects. She was an awesome lady and a wonderful friend. She is missed.

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing.

Am so sorry to hear about your mom! What a fun lady! What a terrific MOM! She did it all! She did it all by herself! What a champ!

Mary was the nicest neighbors! We were very fortunate to have her as our neighbor for 20+ years. We will miss our 'chats' over the fence! Thank you for alwasy being so patient with our dogs. You will be missed Mary!

Mary Agnes Lang was one of the most remarkable people I have ever known.
-Michael Shapiro

Missy A -Your greatest legacy is the truly devoted daughter and family you leave behind. A tribute to what it takes to be a great Mom. You and your Jimmy together forever. Amen. Marge L.

Mary Agnes reminds me that the word "mother" is a verb. Her magic was her way of making anyone, including reporters who were not her responsibility, feel cared for. She is a hero. A heroine. A lady.

Our heartfelt sympathy, love, and prayers to the entire Lang family on the passing of your loving and wonderful Mother.
We know the depth of your loss. May your faith in our Lord comfort you now as always!
God's blessings,
Barbara, John, and All the Blairs

Bubba was such a kind person and always a joy to be around. We feel very fortunate to have known her. She will be missed. May the good Lord provide comfort to your family.
