Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of Katie's passing. I was Katie's hair stylist when she lived in Lawrence and we had many great conversations over the years. She spoke often, and lovingly, of her daughters and family. She will be terribly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

I was devastated to learn of Katie's passing. She hired me at LMH and we worked together for about 15 years. I considered her a good friend, loved her sense of humor, loved her "style," and loved working with her. I will miss knowing she is just a phone call away. I will remember her always.

I was so saddened to see Katie's obituary. She seems to have gone all too soon. But she loved Lashie so and missed him so much. Katie was a wonderful neighbor and friend to me when my husband fell ill and entered home hospice. And after he died she was so supportive and compassionate. She was wonderful with children and had such an understanding of people and human nature. She was an angel. I will never forget her.

My sincere condolences to the LASHBROOK family. So sorry for the loss of your loved one. May she rest in peace in God's memory. 1Cor. 15:25,26. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Leo and I were so saddened to see that our good friend and former neighbor had died. Katie and Carroll were such wonderful neighbors to us and our girls and we will miss her as we still miss Carroll. Our sympathy to Katie's daughters and the remainder of the family. We will remember her always.

What a wonderful person Katie was. I had the privilege of working for Katie at LMH. She was such a special person and always a pleasure to be around, a heart of gold with true compassion for those around her. My condolences to her family.

Totally shocked by this news. My sympathy to the family. Always had great time with she & Lashie on our annual golfing trips.

Enjoyed Katie through our book Club in Lawrence, KS. Meredith Hann

Katie was a dear friend of mine through the Welcome Club Monday afternoon book-club. I was so shocked and saddened to open the paper today and see her obituary. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
