My mother, Virginia Shelton, enjoyed her friendship with Mary Ellen when they lived at Lake Ridge. Mary Ellen would shorten my mother's slacks for her. After my mother's death, I was able to stay in touch with Mary Ellen by telephone. Such a sweet lady.
