My first awareness of Mary was at a 1976 or 1977 public session about childbirth that I think was connected to the movement in Albany then known as Cooperative Self Reliance. I followed her work in Albany over the decades after that. She was an amazing woman who made an indelible impact on life in Albany. My condolences to her family.
