I'm so very sorry for your loss. Mary was a remarkable woman and I feel lucky to have known her.

Mary and John were both so known and loved as we grew up in Hanover! When the word Kind was invented they must have been the catalyst.

Mary was such a dear friend to me. I had the wonderful chance to know her for 57 years, a friendship that started with her husband, John, who was also my mentor and passed away some years prior. This friendship blossomed into something much more profound. Over time, she affectionately called me her fourth son, and I embraced her as my surrogate mother.
