I met Mary in first grade. We became best friends all through our school years. We went on our different paths after we graduated as people do. Lost contact for many many years. We reconnected about a year before our 50th high school reunion. She was the longest friendship I ever had. Oh, the times we had! My deepest condolences to her family and may she rest in peace.
