Mary Lou Oprondek nee Koston, age 75, late of Orland Park. Beloved wife of Jerome S. Oprondek; devoted mother of Jenifer (Kevin) Kunstman, Jill (Mike) Noonan, Jessica (Paul) Feldman, and Jerome M. (Jackie) Oprondek; proud grandmother of Katie, Kyle, Samantha, Nathan, Elise, Grace, Dominic, Jack, Vincent, Matthew, Natalie, Ryan, and Cole; loving sister of the late Diane Kalec and Sandra Brady; dear sister-in-law of Michael F. (Cookie) Oprondek; kind aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mary Lou enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, playing pinochle, and slot machines when visiting casinos. Memorial Visitation Saturday November 18th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 14318 S. LaGrange Rd., (Northbound traffic, U-turn permitted at 143rd St.), Orland Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Always a great memory

My deepest condolences to Aunt Lou’s husband, children, grandchildren and entire family! She was a wonderful Angel and anyone who has known her was truly blessed! She always had a way to make us laugh. I will always remember our ice cream fiascoas well has her smile and warmth! Your in Gods arms now enjoy your next adventure! Love forever!
