Not sure what to say?

MISS LUCAS AS I CALLED HER AT JOHN MARSHALL HIGH INTRODUCED ME TO THE LOVE OF THEATRE AND STARTED ME ON MY PATH IN THE BUSINESS...SHE WAS SO INSPIRING AND HAD SUCH A CREATIVE EYE FOR HIDDEN TALENENT....I LOVED HER DIRECTION AND HER SLY SENSE OF HUMOR....WHAT A CLASSY LADY....I JUST READ THIS TODAY...8/23/2024.....TOM SPANGLER

I came upon this news late - how we will miss a lady of class! Miss Lucas introduced her students to art, culture, and "couth." A teacher with the same name, she taught me in the late 60's -- her classes will always remember that "couthness counts." I have and still use her wedding gift to me. Her memory lives on with me and my daughter.

Miss Lucas was a wonderful person that always wore a smile and had a way about herself

What a Wonderful woman and great teacher. For years she graced our lives! I not only had her her as a teacher but as an actor friend. She was amazing! You will be missed!

Mary Anne was a vivid spirit, wasn't she! I will always remember her love of theatre and music, and her flair for entertaining. I was her grateful guest any number of times for her lovely entertainments, whether in her home or at the Clifton Club.
Mary Anne's dear, lifelong friend--my aunt, Monica (Pastoret) Gorris--passed away December 16. We lost two great ladies within a week. It seems fitting that after a lifetime of friendship their ongoing conversation was not long...

My sincere condolences to your friends and family. May God give you comfort during your time of sorrow.
